I would NOT recommend Thrive Dental. I went in as a new patient for an exam and cleaning and was told I had 8 cavities that needed to be filled immediately, with around $750 out of pocket after insurance. Mind you, I’ve NEVER had a cavity in my life and made that very clear. When I asked the dentist to explain how I suddenly had eight, her response was basically, “Welp, you see the pictures. They’re dark.” That was the explanation. They asked if I wanted to stay and get all 8 filled that day. I declined and then they asked if I still wanted my cleaning… which was literally why I came in. I was told another 20 minutes and ended up waiting around 35. Thankfully, I trusted my gut and went to a family-owned dentist recommended by a friend for a second opinion. Turns out I only had TWO cavities. Thrive would have drilled into SIX perfectly good teeth. I’m SO thankful I got a second opinion before letting that happen. Please please get a second opinion before agreeing to dental work here.

The worst experience ever! I had to walk out and never even got my teeth cleaned. This place is shady, and I will never return. They tried to tell me I had cavities, even though I worked in the dental field for years. I am actually at another dentist right now who completely confirmed I have zero cavities. I went in for a routine cleaning and was just pressured into services and procedures my insurance wouldn’t cover. I walked out and didn't even get to see a hygienist. RUN DONT WALK OUT OF THIS OFFICE!

If I can say anything about Dr. Shen is that he is the most caring, friendly Dr I have ever met. Thrive Dental has been my fourth dental office that I changed. It has been almost two years that I am going there and his care for patients and his professional work is outstanding. Assistants and staff very friendly. I am glad I finally got to stay with one Dr for more than a year.

Dr. Shen did an outstanding job restoring my front teeth with crowns. The process requires a lot of precision, and his patience and attention to detail were evident at every appointment. He listened to my concerns and worked tirelessly to ensure the final result was not only functional but also beautiful. It’s clear he takes great pride in doing the job right. Thanks to his dedication, commitment, and excellent work. I am so happy with the results. Highly recommend!

Thrive is honestly one of the best healthcare appointment experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The ambience and décor throughout the office are amazing, and everything—from the explanation of the process and procedures to the fees—was clear, straightforward, and easy to understand. I was truly impressed by the level of hospitality: blankets, TVs with streaming apps, neck pillows, and so many thoughtful touches that made the visit incredibly comfortable. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and my dentist was extremely professional and did an excellent job with my cleaning. To top it all off, I was given the cutest gift bag with dental hygiene goodies afterward. I will absolutely continue coming here for all my dental needs. I am BEYOND impressed with this office.
